"Japan in Not" - "Japan in difficulties"

Japan, as a country with the third largest GDP in the world, (or 2nd until 2009), has enjoyed a good quality of life after World War II. Even though Japan has disadvantages, such as a lack of mineral resources and recent economic recessions, we Japanese know very well that we possess a lot of things in abundance, which people in other countries don't. It made me hesitate to ask for your support, even when Japan suffered the 4th largest earthquake in history, followed by a catastrophic Tsunami of a scale that occurs only once in a thousand years, and other consequent difficulties.

However, I started to get first-hand information from people working in the affected areas, saying that "small children are dying due to lack of food" in an isolated evacuation house, or  "sick people lost their lives due to lack of necessary medical support." Still around 250,000 people in devastated areas are forced to live in evacuation houses - mostly like a gymnastic hall of a primary school, without electricity, heating, food, nor water in the cold winter.

So many Japanese "People in Difficulties" need immediate help. If you would be ready to support such "People in Difficulties" in Japan, we would appreciate your donation. Our policy of direct donation is unchanged; however, in this case, your donation will be distributed to different hospitals, and other centers that urgently need assistance.

Believing in Japanese self-help endeavor, and hoping that Menschen-in-Not (People in difficulties) will not increase further anywhere in the world,

I would like to express my appreciation for your consideration in advance.
